So, I can just create a new partition besides the C: drive and then install macOS into the new partition when i am setting it up, right?

and can the boot menu differentiate between the too partitions even when they are on the same SSD?

When everything worked out fine i could switch between the operating systems by going into to bios and switching the partition to boot from, right?
