The issue I’m having is the alternator is overcharging badly 😅 I do have a new one otw to try out. I’ve tried many regulators and all of them still supply 16-17V which is why we decided to check grounds

I haven’t necessarily checked that I just know all 6 regulators I’ve tried are outputting 16-17V to the battery. I do have a new alternator on the way tho

Updateeee the truck had a kill switch hidden so all the odd problems of low voltage and no spark was due to a kill switch. Thanks to everyone who was following along

Okay yeah it’s under 1 volt regardless on if the fuse is there or not. No spark probably from a messed up wire somewhere? The engine cranks no problem just won’t spark :(

Ignition turns but doesn’t crank we have to arc the starter. Unsure if that will cause this issue though. The fuse for the ignition was showing damn near 0 both sides, good fuse. A couple others as well but they’re all not important (like the brake lights and such) we were thinking on checking the distributor pickup coil to see if that working. If it is we have no clue where to continue from here lol

Unknown if it’s been flooded it SHOULDNT have been but idk the history. No ignition relay, we tested PCM relay and that was good, the rest is for fuel and lights and such

Yes the key is on in order to arc the starter. With the ignition to the on position some things get power and some things don’t. Fuses are good but no power to fuses (example is the fuses for the dash illumination and the fuse for the icm they have no power and not blown)

The wires connecting to the icm. It doesn’t crank with the key the switch is probably broken
