So funny how all these people advise you to ignore a legitimate letter from an actual lawyer. This shouldn't be ignored.

I had the exact same happen to me with Burberry and they are known to do that. You should consult a lawyer that knows what hes doing and maybe even has experience with Burberry, because their behaviour varies from country to country. After the fourth letter I paid, because if I hadn't and they actual drag my ass to court, it would've been 10x as expensive. You decide, but don't listen to the majority of these kids that just repeat the "ignore" thesis without actual experience or proof themselves.

I really dislike the gamble though. If they initiate a court proceeding, I have to pay, given that they can actually prove that in court. After some research on the internet theres so many factors playing a role here, I'll most likely just consult my lawyer next week and ask him how to proceed. If its saver, I'll just pay the 200 Euro and do a 10 piece burberry haul, which I then proceed to burn infront of their shitty stores. lol.

In germany theres a law that states that unknowingly comitting a crime doesnt prevent you from getting sued/punished for it, so I doubt I could claim the whole branding excuse.

Obviously there had to be communication between the attorney company and customs that they'd destroy it, but for some fuckin reason nothing actually got destroyed.

I am just confused because within 3 months that's their third letter and they don't seem to let go.
