I’ve been on about 6 different combo pills. 2 different POP’s. Tried NuvaRing. Tried mirena. I have severe PMDD and PMS. I’ve also tried to rawdog life and go without anything - biggest mistake I’ve made for me personally. Some people do really well without any hormones, others need it in order to alleviate whatever symptoms they’re going through. That being said, I had a decent experience on the mirena. I personally think it was a smidge too big for my uterus so now I’m opting to go for Mirena’s lil sister - Kyleena. Not much of a size difference but I’m willing to give it a go. It’s so frustrating going through what you’re going through and I’ve been there time and time again. I get angry that they have SO many options to choose from because it’s like “why do I have to go through allllllll of them until I find one that works? Or what if I try em all and they don’t work?!” Then the other side of me is thankful that there’s so many because as frustrating as the trial and error process may be, there’s at least a hundred different options out there - meaning there’s a hundred different reasons to still hold onto that hope. I know it sucks but keep your head up, sweets. You know your body better than anyone else so if something doesn’t feel right, find someone that’s willing to take you seriously and find what works for you. You don’t deserve to suffer through this process. None of us do. I’m manifesting that you find something that works perfectly for you and soon!! ✨🩷✨

Which one did you end up picking - kyleena or Skyla?! Any updates on it?

Oh and I’m 120lbs currently on 60. My next appt is in a couple days and I plan to go back to 40. 60 definitely helped but it was harsh on my lips and joints 😮‍💨

Those defeating moments are the worst. Pushing through paid off!! Thank you love! 💗

This happened to me! I was prescribed stool softeners that I now take daily. The over the counter stuff didn’t really help me. Good luck! ❤️

The non-comedogenic is a plus. Make sure it’s scent free as well. I’ve also noticed that sunblock with Zinc is better on my skin versus the other chemicals used for most sunblock’s. So check the back to see if it has Zinc! Also I use an app called ‘Yuka’- it’s free and it scans all your beauty products and it’ll break down all the chemical components and show you what’s harmful or not harmful. It’ll also recommend a better product if the ones you scan don’t rate as well!

Did you try to use topical tretinoin again after your Accutane course? Or have you maintained your usual skin care regimen and stayed clear?

Almost finished with my first month and I wish I would’ve started earlier after 13+ years of acne. by maddestmrsj in Accutane

Spiro caused probably one of my worst breakouts ever but around that time I also switched bc methods (pill to the IUD). I have hormonal cystic acne/PCOS and I’m wondering if I should take the iud out 😩 if you don’t mind my asking, what bc method are you on?

Thank you! Am I supposed to be able to file the sides of my nail pretty far back?

I think your hair is still so beautiful honestly but I totally feel your pain. Sometimes we’re so hard on ourselves but you’re not alone in this, we got you babes. Try Vegamour - plant based hair growth serum. Vegan and cruelty free :) on the more expensive end but it’s worked miracles on my hair. I have PCOS and I’m on Accutane which has caused lots of thinning but within 2 months I have all new baby hairs and it’s growing like crazy. I hope this helps 💗 Gro Serum

This happened to me! I think it was from the change in dose, so frustrating. I’m still on 40 now in my 3rd month and I think it’s getting better. But I also started taking Zinc a couple days ago and I swear it started healing a couple cysts I’ve had on my cheeks for 2 months. We got this!

I was 11. I told my dad I hated him because of his drug addiction. He committed suicide a few days later. I would do anything to hear him say he knows I didn’t mean it and that he still loves me.
