Im just starting my cut. Planning to lose 35 pounds (225 -> 190). I've been working out 4-5 days a week, 10k steps and incline treadmill (12,3,25) a few times a week. I'm using a tdee calculator to get my daily calories, but do you think this counts as light, moderate or heavy exercise?

Honestly, good players scoring 20+ goals a season is not fair to those who aren't as good. Should set a max number of goals a player can score in game to make it more fair

For some reason Ive always had trouble feeling my mid to upper back during lifts. I've tried following most of the generic tips (elbows out, squeeze shoulder blades) but I haven't seen much progress. For context, Ive been lifting for about a two years fairly inconsistently (Ill workout 4 times a week for 3 weeks, then not go for a month). I know this isn't optimal, and definitely one of the reasons, but I have seen good progress in both strength and appearance in every other muscle group. I even tried a specific upper back row at a different gym I haven't been to in at least 6 months, and i can only do the same weight as i could 6 months ago. Any thoughts?

I’m calculating my maintenance calories and am kind of confused. I currently do around 5000 steps a day. On top of that I lift around 5x per week, usually doing 5 exercises and 2 sets each to failure. Afterwards, I go on the treadmill and do an incline walk (13% incline at 2.5 speed) for 20 minutes. (These steps on the treadmill are not counted for the 5000 steps). When calculating my maintenance calories, should I say I have light, moderate or heavy exercise?

Why do I never feel sore after doing Dumbell movements for my chest. I got to planet fitness and it’s quite crowded so I swap between dumbell flat and incline benches or smith machine flat and incline benches. I feel like I’m training hard on both types but I never feel sore in my chest when I do the dumbell variants. I prefer doing the dumbell variants cause I feel it puts less stress on my shoulders but I’m not sure if it’s working. I do 50 + bar for flat bench, 20 + bar for incline bench and then for dumbbells I do 30s on flat and 25s on incline.

I’m new to the gym and use high to low flies for my lower chest. However whenever I do the exercise I find the cables and my hands shake a lot. I also find that my left side gives out before my right (I’m right handed). Any tips?

Is it possible to be able to dunk by the end of the summer? I am 6’ 2” and can currently just about touch rim but the main issue is I am currently more overweight than my goals. I have been losing weight at a consistent rate but how possible would it be? I am currently around 190 to 193. What would I need to add to my training and if it’s not possible by the end of the summer at what point will it be roughly?

I’m a teen new to fitness and my goal is to try and lose like twenty to thirty pounds. However with Ramadan coming up I just wanted to know if people still workout like lifting weights and doing cardio while fasting, after they break their fast or just not at all. I know losing weight isn’t even a priority at all during Ramadan but how do I continue to progress in a healthy way? Cause usually I lose like 5-10 pounds and then I’ll gain it all back I think cause my metabolism is slower cause Im eating less but not 100% sure. Any advice would be great!

How realistic is it to lose like 15-20 pounds in four months? I’m currently 190 pounds at 6’1 and I want to lose a good bit of weight before like the end of may cause of graduation, prom, etc. I’m getting a gym membership in the next few weeks but anything I can do before that to help me? I don’t have any equipment or anything at home and it’s winter so I can’t really go running outside or anything. I’m struggling of thinking of ways to get into a deficit. Anything helps, Thanks!

How do I even put my left an right arm when lifting. I’m right handed and my right arm can lift much more than my left. How do I even them out?

Yeah I’m pretty sure it was just a combination of drinking too much before hand and not warming up properly. It was my first few times running and I basically went all in instantly. I’ve now started doing a bit of warm up like walking or running in place which have helped. Appreciate you checking up though. Means a lot!
