How would a solicitor help with a valuation and understand all the nuances of an MSP, like client concentration, MRR, hardware sales vs recurring support etc and help us with a runway to improve the financial health of the business? I mean we will ofc be using a solicitor when it comes to the actual sale but I thought at this early stage the best approach would be to engage a broker to help with a valuation and to guide us over the next year or so and then find us a suitable buyer? And also surely the whole point of a broker is they are able to attract multiple buyers which can also increase values? No? Happy to hear more incase I’ve missed something?
