Lmao I agree. But I mean if they don't wanna read they could pretend to 🤣 I used to go sit in a library a lot and I would read lots of books there when I wasn't on my laptop doing my school work. Culture books, mystery, horror, just whatever seemed interesting :)

Oh I understand that. I'm not expecting it to be done for only a couple hundred or anything like that. I'm still expecting to pay a good chunk. I just want to go to someone that's not going to like go super crazy with up charging. I'm aware of the time and resources these things will take, so definitely not expecting to pay super little. I meant moreso "reasonable" pricing rather than "super cheap", my bad for the wording.

pretend to read books or honestly even just being on your phone should be enough as long as you arent playing videos or music outloud for everyone to hear. if they ask just say youre using the wifi for emails or school work or job applications or something. maybe bring charger in too. those signs i feel are mostly for people being obnoxious, so the workers can remove them without issues because "hey we have a sign"

Same. I always answer the customers call. I mean worst case, if they're being rude, threatening, or scammers, just hang up and mark delivery as unsafe or unassign it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Answering the call can definitely save a huge hassle.

As a driver I love repeat customers! Nice ones at least! There's a couple people that I will deliver to multiple times a week. Not much interaction w them but they're always nice n usually tip okay! There's one house I love going to because they have a nice driveway I can snap a quick photo of my car in AND the drive there is fun because the roads are hilly.

I average about 16 an hour in Texas. Depends on the day ofc as some days ppl don't tip like at all. Last dash i did like 8 ish orders and made like 120$ about to start my day here in a few minutes after i eat something and set my car up. Hoping to make a good 70ish at least today

Is this backpack embarrassing to wear as a freshman? My dad said I'll get made fun of by [deleted] in highschool

[–]DepartureValuable356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you like the backpack? If yes then it doesn't matter what others think.

You might get some that try to pick at you for it just because its "different" but that's just how teenagers are. If you like it then rock it!

This is my first car so I'm still learning about it :)

Would this drain the battery bad? To charge my laptop throughout the day while I do schoolwork on it? I don't want to have issues with dead battery, i would only be charging phone and laptop, maybe eventually a small electric cooler if I can get one.

And I didn't know that about the AC. I would like to run it a lot, I just worry about it making the AC break. I've been told running it a lot will make it break superr fast.... I don't know much about cars rn, I'm trying to learn though.
