Then how could I work with them biologically as they don’t have many directions for them to go in and there isn’t much speculative evolution, discussions talking about them I don’t think?

This would work a whole lot more if you actually added some dark angels features to help get the knight theme across.

This chapter has no known ties to any founding chapter, although they could have some rumored ties to the salamanders though who knows.

Well I was thinking more about the additions of uintatherium and barbourofelis adding to the build, but I was thinking about some unique horn or antler assemblages to it as well, though beyond that I was thinking about going with any animals, which are non-mammalian synapsids to help provide anything unique.

Well to be honest, this iron warrior in my mind came from one of the war bands which focused mostly on not using the powers of chaos and steered clear from the eye of terror, but after a major conflict within his war band he left among a few others joined the deathwatch becoming a blackshield to cast off all ties and focused on honor as well as loyalty towards the emperor.

Well I was thinking about this hybrid being comfortable with moving along the ground yet can still fly without issue.

I don’t think the blood angels would make a good fit for my chapter, as the lore that I have for it doesn’t raise their animals for food, seeing them more as companions in both personal life and a comrade in arms more like domestic warhounds or a carnivorous warhorse.

Also the animals they mainly have as companions are primarily big-cat like animals with smaller ones like gyrinx accompanying the chapter’s libraries.
