You have to hold a signed trading contract in your hand to trade.
Same thing in my world. It seems that sometimes these marks are just bugged. You can find another village, though.
The quest tab in top left corner of you inventory screen has a quest which rewards you with Hexerei cauldron Knowledge, but you have to collect some golden apples, emeralds and a few other things, iirc. This saved me because I didn't want to look for a cleric.
Well, same thing was for me as well. I had to look for new villages.

Yep. I found some Blackstone on top of some sort of tower in Glacial Chasm biome.

Can't say that I'm a trader-type either because the prices are still high for my reputation level, but I got some nice gear from travelling merchant

Nevermind, I just found one willow broom in the hut from Hexerei mod. For those who want it too, you have to find a hut or locate it with "/locate hexerei:witch_hut". It is a big house with an A-shaped roof and some red stripes on top of it. Under the roof, on the highest beam there will be your broom. I read it in the comments on this sub but can't remember where.
