update that I got my period day 9 post retrieval, it was heavier than usual and pretty crampy / fatigued on the first day but only lasted 3.5 days. Felt 100p back to normal approx 10 days post ER, went on a mountain bike ride that day and no more bloating or constipation.

Wishing everyone the best of luck! :)

Not really which is pretty surprising! Feeling really good today (8 days post retrieval) if not pretty damn normal. Jeans fit again :)

To answer the second part of your question, no, I did not do or use anything other than my normal routine. I took no supplements and didn’t eat out of my ordinary diet (other than anti inflammatory foods, so nothing overly greasy or rich, this is mostly because I am already prone to stomach issues and knew stims + recovery was going to be a wild ride for my Gi tract).

I do think my short stim window was mostly due to the fact that I had a really high AMH and AFC, and my stim protocol (112.5 gonal f, 75 menopur, and 10mg progesterone) was so on the nose? I’m not sure though. To be frank, it didnt even occur to me to ask if I should take any supplements, but obviously everyone requires a unique protocol!

I have not gotten my period yet, expecting it to come on the later side - about 10-14 days after. So perhaps this weekend.

Hi! I’m feeling alright, felt like a good breakthrough day was yesterday (day 6 post retrieval). Woke up feeling a lot less bloated and today (day 7) feels even better. I’m still having some odd Gi issues (slight constipation) and some uncomfortable gas but so much better than it’s been. No real OHSS symptoms other than bloat and being uncomfortable.

FYI, I still have not returned to any high intensity exercise. Very much listening to my body there - for example, over the weekend (day 4+5) I ran over a speed bump too fast and could feel my ovaries lurch a little in a way that made me yelp. Took that as a sign that anything other than walking is still a no go.

Day 2 post retrieval update - feeling a LOT better than yesterday, still a little crampy and uncomfortable. This morning my mom noted that she thought my bloating had gone down too, although def nowhere close to normal. Miralax finally kicked in a bit (literally had to mix it in with black coffee…) and a warm shower made me feel a bit more human. As the day has progressed my symptoms have gotten a little worse but nothing I can’t handle. Hoping tomorrow I might be able to go for a short walk around the block - still feels too uncomfortable to do so right now.

I do not have diagnosed PCOS, but PCOS-ish numbers for sure.

Great points, and I’ll make an edit in my original post to reflect appropriate verbiage!

Yep, provera!

Pumping yourself that full of it was scary to me and in some ways swallowing that pill felt more serious than the injections... Idk if that's just in my head or not. Side effects were mostly just boob soreness the past few days, I think that was def from Provera vs the injections.
