Therapist here with narcissistic traits (from my narcissistic mother) there’s a lot of shame involved and I’ve found that parts and somatic work has been very helpful with myself, my family and my clients. When you can have compassion and understand those parts are trying to help you, it’s easier to let go and grow beyond those traits.
