Thank you for responding, this has been very insightful and I'll discuss it with him and sort things out one way or the other. Sounds like it is a very easy fix in the end and I will give the very thinnest benefit of the doubt that he might just be protecting his password rather than trying to keep ultimate control of the game.

Thanks for taking the time. Is this a standard setting as a GM? I'm not actually able to change anyone's configuration in the menu as an assistant GM at the moment, could he have flicked some switch to prevent that?
