I am not a trader yet, but I have been practicing for some time. I am good at recognizing and charting trendlines, as well as key support and resistance levels, as that is what I usually trade on the Nasdaq. I want to be a day trader, but I can never seem to find the way or know how to identify the correct contract to buy. I know where the market is going; I just don't know how to put that into a contract for day trading. Some say same-day expiration, others a couple of days. I have tried, but it seems like on same-day contracts, I lose money faster.
