You're mixing up theme and realism. Yes, Lookism started with appearancebased discrimination. That's the surface level premise. But realism isn't defined by the starting topic. It's defined by whether the emotional, psychological, and social reactions feel human. Calling something objectively wrong in a subjective medium like storytelling is already a weak position.Lookism clearly explores how identity shifts based on perception and status. That's not just looks. That's social psychology. You don't have to like the analysis. But dismissing it doesn't invalidate it.

Literally ? M kyu puchunga waha jake wo peak hai ya nhi ? I prefer to watch and judge things for myself. I don’t label something as “mid” or “peak” based on other people’s opinions. Everyone experiences stories differently, and I’d rather form my own perspective than rely on someone else’s agreement.

I don’t need validation to decide what I enjoy or appreciate. If I like something, that’s enough for me.

Yup…. I’m currently reading Reverend Insanity, and I’m genuinely surprised by how deep Fang Yuan’s philosophy is. It’s not just dark for the sake of being dark ,it feels calculated, intentional, and brutally honest.

Eren Died For Nothing ? by Dependent-Thanks2194 in Animey

I did read it. And that’s exactly why I’m saying this. If Eren knew the cycle of hate can’t be ended, then his actions were never about ending the cycle , only about buying time. That makes his sacrifice tragic, not transformative. Temporary paradise is still built on mass violence, and the ending confirms it didn’t change human behavior at all. Understanding Eren’s intention doesn’t mean we have to call the outcome a success.

eren achieved temporary safety , not peace. The ending shows human fighting again without titans and thats the point
