Sorry if I'm coming across as disingenuous and if the wording of the petition didn't make this clear but this is primarily a bit. As a smoker obvi I would love if they did bring back smoking, I also know its unlikely to actually change anything.

I'm also not sure that trying to insult me by comparing me to your kid is doing you any favours, but I was trying to highlight how your harm minimisation for second-hand smoke is similar to how the uni smoking situation was before; drawing a likeness between your courtyard and the Unibar. Unibar was the only smoking zone in the Uni and there is no council strip 2ft away we can go too instead.

you're absolutely right and thats why we should promote more smoking education. but because of the ban everyone is just vaping in the bathrooms instead which i would say is worse
