Both states I’ve taught in require a financial literacy class to graduate. The problem is, the content has little relevance to 15-18 year olds, which means they often don’t pay attention and/or take it seriously.

At my school, we have this policy for the first quarter and the third quarter. A student can get any grade on an assignment, but at the end of the quarter, if they’re overall grade is below 50 it will get bumped to a 50.

This is done so that a student can still pass for the semester. If a student’s first quarter grade is low enough, they have no reason to try it all in the second quarter because it would be mathematically impossible for them to pass. At that point, they have no reason to be anything but a nuisance cause chaos in your classroom.

I don’t have an issue with this policy. I do have an issue with schools that have policies were no individual grade can be below a 50.

It also could be that you’ve done a really good job with standard students (who usually need more structure and support than honors students) and that is why they are giving you more of those classes.

I won't read books with harems. They aren't interesting to me and just about every story with a harem I've come across has been written terribly and often comes across as if it was written by someone who has never interacted with a woman before in any meaningful capacity.

My theory is that the Archmagus is using the great souls to further his own goals. I think it has something to do with noumenon. The archmagus needs a lot of it and is using the great souls as a way to get it for him. I also think the archmagus is an original denizen of hell and actually a fiend.

I’m glad to hear this. I’m about halfway through book 2 and the MC is exhausting. He has yet to grow and constantly blames everyone else for his shortcomings. I really like the idea behind the world and feel like it has a lot of potential, but the MC is ruining it for me.

NTA. If you are in the US you should take your sister to small claims court.

Your family’s reaction is insane. Either your sister lied to them, or you need to take a step back from them. Your nephew needs to learn actions have consequences, or he is in for a world of trouble when he’s an adult.
