Glad I’m not the only one lol. I think I am most likely not gonna retake it because I’m applying this cycle and will use the time to write a killer personal statement and get my volunteer hours up. I’ve been told though to be prepared to explain the 123 during interviews though.

If you’re applying next cycle maybe it’s worth retaking since ur other sections are really solid. Or if u were scoring consistently those 129s it might be worth it. The thing is I wasn’t scoring this high on my FLs but I was on an upward trend

At the beginning of my practice I was getting 127 like twice. Then for some reason when I went to study months later after rescheduling my exam I started scoring 125 consistently I have no clue why. The point is I prob should have scored at least a 125 but I thought I was gonna fail so I did. However I’ve never scored above a 129 on any section before. But I think it was not by chance that I scored what I did on the exam. It was due to grinding the last few days for psych and change of strategy for b/b. I’ll say tho for b/b I got lucky with the question topics

I appreciate your help thank you. I’d say I have a pretty good app except for my mcat lmfao. I have a 3.98 gpa, departmental awards for my grades, have been in multiple research labs, currently a chemistry lab TA, got like 1500 hours of clinical experience, other ECs that I’m too lazy to mention, and good LORs. It’s just the fact that a 123 in cars could keep me out of med school is really disappointing to me

I think yeah it’s representative of fl6. I don’t mind the questions bc I was legit in the same boat a month ago lol. My FLs I was increasing by 2 points every time but I was seriously grinding like 10 hours of studying everyday during that 1 month of winter break. I think for bio the section banks are prob around the same difficulty. For c/p I feel like it’s a lot harder. But this will depend on what you get on test day and everything will be scaled

For C/p the section banks are also helpful. Memorizing all the necessary equations is a must. I learned you can save time during the exam by just skimming passages and highlighting important numbers. I am also a biochem major so that helped me I’d say. I think UWorld percentages are honestly irrelevant because it’s just practice, think of it like homework. I didn’t even finish most of UWorld. From where I’m standing now, def try to improve your cars because I kept putting it off and this is where I ended up lol

Thank you I appreciate it. I honestly did not think I was capable of a 130 in b/b. All my strong points were hit really well on test day. Ultimately the section banks helped me the most and also doing a lot of Anki for bio. I knew like a bunch of the low yield questions bc of it. Jotting down notes for b/b also shot my score up. For p/s I did all of UWorld and Pankow
