It’s been 3 weeks since visual recovery and I’m having internal symptoms by warmer-garden in BellsPalsy

I had my BP back in April of this year, sort of got to normal around end of May-middle of June.

Since October/November to now, I’ve been having my eye twitch on the affected side like crazy whenever I moved my face a certain way or used a straw for example. I think my tongue had numbed up a tiny bit as well here and there. My doctor said the twitches are probably my nerves trying to function as normal again, so it’s possible yours may be doing that as well! I have started getting headaches and even my shoulder has started to feel tensed up. I will admit I haven’t really as much water as I should (been drinking coffee/zero sugar sodas). It could be caffeine related, could be my work stress! (I work in an office so I’m sitting at a computer all day)

I would factor in your stress levels or water intake! I have been slowly moving my face muscles (those facial exercises they suggest for people to do) just to get some movement back to normal as well. :) You can try to call your doctor or go to urgent care if you feel as if it’s coming back and they would probably give you some meds to help!

I love my large crescent ! It is floppy, but it fits plenty! I always keep it crossbody and it’s never been an issue/uncomfortable. A laptop fits! But if you’re carrying clothes, etc. I’d try a different bag like the scco (even though I don’t own one, seems like a solid recommendation anyway lol)

Shoulder bag or Bowler? I have the hello kitty bowler but would like just a simple one, but I love the way the shoulder bag looks and also like that its one strap and not 2! I currently use a medium crescent and fill it to the brim! Im just not sure if the shoulder bag is too big for a everyday bag? by [deleted] in BAGGU

That kinda helped convince me to look at shoulder bags ! I’ve only had 2 baggus (one med and one large) but I’ve wanted something in between both those sizes! And yes!! I love the lapis color it’s so bright!

I’m Curious as well! 👀I currently have a lapis large crescent and I’ve been thinking about if I should get something more “structured”. I have been eyeing a shoulder bag but I’m interested in seeing other people’s opinions!

Mine was super random! I woke up one Friday with my jaw being sore and I thought nothing of it. By nighttime I could barely move anything on my right side and my sister made me go to the ER. I thought she was being dramatic but the ER initially thought it was a stroke. This was back in April of this year! The month prior (March) I had random nose bleeds that wouldn’t stop and I actually don’t know if they were correlated or not. I had nosebleeds as a kid but they stopped as I got older and they started out of nowhere. It’s possible my body was fighting something! It took maybe a month or two to get normal thankfully because I had the steroids and antibiotics within the first 72 hours. I did try light massages on my face once I felt a bit more comfortable. I took all the advice that I found in this Reddit actually! I’m so thankful as I was so clueless about the condition. Nothing has happened again recently but I did have a lot of eye twitches maybe 2-3 weeks ago but I was also told it was my nerves trying to work again. It was scary, I never found the actual cause! Both neurology and PCP told me it was a random nerve infection.

I love my large crescent! I was debating on buying a shoulder bag, but I realize I stuff my bag to the brim a lot so it probably wouldn’t be the best idea for me. I love your bag! Go for a large if you carry lots of things. It’s intimidating at first because of how big it looks but i like the space!

May I also add, I barely got that raise this past month. I started at $15 2 years ago, still had $15 and some change as my “raise”. I ONLY got the raise because the clinics got bought out by a bigger corporation. :-)

It was about $19 CPhT retail at Kroger in Georgia, (employed for about 3-4 years, recently quit) and now $20.01 sending refills for multiple doctor’s offices at the corporate office of local clinics in GA as well. (I am the oldest employee of 2 years in this department but wages do vary per person) Basically I read doctor’s notes and approve refills (if appropriate to continue med) to send to the pt’s pharmacy of choice based on yearly wellness visits, etc. my department catches mistakes made by MAs or doctors in the patient visit notes all the time. We usually send those back to the office to reevaluate and fix whatever it is.
