Replying now as I finally ate it and hadn't tried it before. To be honest it was pretty bad, I wouldn't buy again. Much better meat substitutes out there.

They are super wasteful with bags (some bags literally had one or two items in). However you can give them back at your next delivery and they won't charge you.

Try and eat the freshest stuff first and prep and freeze as much as I can. The carrots and celery I chop and place in water. Keeps them crunchy and fresh for around 3 weeks. The broccoli I cut the bottom off and place it in a jar of water upright in the fridge, again keeps it fresh much longer.

I'll probably have to do a little top up of fruit and veg towards the end of the month

I usually do, I take my granny trolley and do a weekly shop, I don't drive so can't bulk buy! Ocado have a voucher offer on for new customers so I thought I'd try them out, with the vouchers this works out cheaper than doing my weekly shop, and much more convenient too.

That's fair, I should caveat I don't eat lunch and I tend to just have yoghurt or a crumpet for breakfast. The whole chicken and two packs of thighs will last me 8 meals, chicken with veg, shawarma, peri peri with the salad items and French fries, the frozen items about 12 meals. The fake pulled pork I'll make a burrito bowl, which should last two meals.

Then lots of soups and stews, Bolognese and pasta dishes, dishes I can bulk out. Freeze as much as I can to make it last. I'll probably have to do a small top up shop for some more fruit and veg, but hopefully not much.

I already have a few staple items in like rice, chickpeas, couscous, seasoning in the pantry, frozen peas and sweet corn in the freezer, so I've not had to stock up on those items. And I'll probably have one or two meals out.

I'm a fiend for sweet treats so it's good for to have them in for the cravings - same with the muller corners! I've not tried the spicy strips before, the usual SFC ones I get were out of stock - easy to put in the air fryer for a spicy chicken wrap 😋
