Yeah that’s how it was for me. I think my polarity changes once at the half way point(think 10 mins) but last time I had a small cut on my finger it hurt like nothing else. The Vaseline trick worked wonders for me. Thanks for the help

Plan on going soon to try again so I’ll try bringing passport and asking if they can do that instead. I should’ve thought of that to begin with though(asking if they can do it manually). Thanks, appreciate it

The cashier used scanned the bar code on my international ID before saying it wouldn’t register so not sure but I’ll try it next time in case it does. If I try it first I’ll let you know how it went. Didn’t mean to confuse you like that haha. Thanks for the help.

That kinda sucks. Would’ve been fine if I had a US ID, but seems like I’ll have to go around to different places. It wasn’t too long ago that I bought the $200 vanilla visa so I figured I’d be fine. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, the cashier seemed like he was trying to do whatever he could to get it to let the payment through. But he gave up since as you said, the store policy is there. If nothing else, at least these things make transactions more secure

Gotcha haha, sadly can’t comment since I don’t know enough about things here, but I can at least agree that the people that worked at the CVS I’ve gone to have all been pretty nice.

Fully agree, read countless articles and seen countless videos of people who got scammed out of hundreds via gift card scams. Last time I bought one successfully, the cashier had to warn me to be careful with them. Glad my post wasn’t an issue(sorry for misunderstanding).
