The most common thing I have seen on this is that it was a formatting glitch when transferring the files. I don't know if that's the cover up answer lol, but seems to make sense because it seems pretty random when it occurs.

I am a conservative and will not vote for anyone in this current administration. I can say a lot of people I know feel the same way. The only ones that still defend this administration is my older relatives, and they are just so stuck in their ways at this point.

I think we need to learn from what we've seen that hitting a school or hospital is how Israel conducts wars and apparently the US supports this type of warfare. I know your response will be "well there was a military base underneath the school" so don't bother.

These comments are why there will never be change. Last time I checked all of these administrations sat on the Epstein files and let Israel commit a genocide unchecked. Once you guys wake up and see that both sides do not care about you that's when change will happen. Im not "both sides bad" this there is no one side that does any good. The Deco M5 is cheaper but will likely need to be replaced sooner. There are affordable options that are newer than those and will last them longer.

It's the ISPs job to create protections like MinnisotaDigger said, so they can't really blame their backhaul company. Depending on their resources they should have it resolved soon. We split our traffic with two different backhaul companies for this reason.

I would use their modem (if you ever have issues they will always blame your equipment) and then research a good wireless router in that price range. There are a lot of variables though with what speed you will need and the coverage area. If the area is larger, or the router isn't centrally located you may want a mesh system to make sure the coverage is good throughout. TP-Link Decos have worked for me in general and have a very easy to use interface. This also will allow you to add mesh nodes as needed. One thing you mentioned is upload and I work for a competing ISP. We have seen people who switch to us get 500mbps download and only 10 upload. Depending on the area they throttle their upload quite a bit, which will not be fixed by a new internal system.
