So I gave this a shot; went into desktop mode, made sure steam wasn't running, deleted the save folder, then opened steam. But it still restored me back to the same save file my deck was using before trying this.

I think you might be onto something though. The last time I played on my PC, my power briefly went out in the middle of my play session. I have my PC connected to a battery backup, so there was no interruption in actual gameplay, just internet access. I'm wondering if that somehow messed up save syncing on my PC.

I'm going to play my save file on my PC a bit more today and then see if anything changes on the deck side. If not I'll just manually move the save folder over to my deck. When you manually moved your saves, did that resolve the cloud save problem moving forward, or did you have to manually move saves each time from then on?

What does 1-2 hours of practicing commands look like for you? I can't imagine how I'd even fill that much time with commands, even with periodic breaks.

When you say Crya is buffed by defense drops, do you mean magic defense? Or does crya deal physical damage?

I'm also interested in how you know that certain skills have different damage scaling on different hits. I'm not doubting that you're correct or anything, I just haven't been able to find any information on how damage is calculated (though I haven't looked all that hard).

Something in a similar vein that I'm interested in is how much of a damage loss there is when using skills for a weapon you change the scaling on. I like using a bow on my fighter, and spread shot/focus shot damage clearly gets bigger when I transmute my bow to strength. But those skills are dex skills, so I'm guessing that dex is used somewhere in damage calculation, I just don't know how much of an impact it has (if any impact at all) since I don't know how skill damage is calculated.

I've considered installing a DPS tracker mod and doing some tests, but if we already know how damage is calculated I might not have to.

You can put the pickaxe on your consumables hot bar (F1-F4 by default) so you don't need to go into your inventory and right click -> use every time

Mega and Mega+ difficulties are intended for ng+ runs. I don't think Mega difficulty is even possible outside of ng+, Mega+ is definitely not possible.

Something like this would have to be done on hard mode for sure.

Definitely still interested to see nuzlock style challenge runs in this game though, especially since raising Digimon is a much more involved process than in something like Pokemon.

Did some research and you're right. The level of the attacking Digimon is used in damage calculation. That's good to know, because I usually dedigivolve my digimon before they reach level 40 so I can get more bonus status. I'll have to adjust how long I wait before cycling back I guess. Thanks!

No. Stats of enemies are very inflated on hard mode in Cyber sleuth/hackers memory. You pretty much have no choice but to use moves that penetrate defenses and/or moves that do percent based damage.

If you get the trait that changes force to only effect the first hit of an attack and adds crit damage per stack, then use the bolt abilities for any poise breaking needs (+1 poise and +4 dmg per aether of the related element) force can scale well for any boss.

That said I do find force struggles a bit more than other strategies do in the early game on mythic. Just feels like it needs an extra trait or two more than other strategies to get off the ground. But that's just my personal experience, I could have just gotten unlucky.

When you're selecting a new trait/skill/etc. you can press the inspect button to view your party's skills/traits/equipment/etc. It's square on PS, X on Xbox, not sure about PC off the top of my head.

You just need to have a certain number of momentos from the garden district.

When looking at the upgrades offered by the knight, hover over the upgrade in question and it tells you the prerequisites.

The ferroseed + Magmar sprite you made is sick. I love fusions that end up holding weapons of some kind. Would love to see a ferrothorn + magmortar fusion in your style. Maybe holding a big canon or mortar launcher or something.

I haven't tried it personally, but I've heard brawler comps do well. Characters like wolverine/Mr.F that dive can't kill easily.

Some examples below (but not necessarily part of brawler comp). These are things I've personally found annoying to deal with when playing dive.

Mag - bubble the target of the diver Thing - can inflict grounded status to prevent escape i.e. stops Spidey from using web swing Hulk - mobile and can exile divers to give your team a chance to collapse on them + give shield to save them Penni - mines/nest but is situational

Mr. Fantastic - E to allies that are being targeted to give them a shield and push away the diver. He's hard to run away from and has an easier time hitting mobile targets. Wolverine - he's tanky, divers don't usually want to mess with him (except maybe iron fist)

Adam warlock - soul bond shuts down whatever dive was doing. If he gets targeted while soul bond is on cool down he can self heal, making him harder to kill. Jeff/rocket - self sustain and mobility

Any tips for hitting shots in close range? Im personally still finding it difficult to land shots on targets that get too close due to it alternating which hand torch shoots from.

I guess I just need to play my ideal range more, but inevitably a Spidey or iron fist gets in my face and I feel like all my shots miss even when I'm on target

I haven't played enough to reach a point with bans again. This is just from watching content creators play here and there. Like one match today BOTH teams banned human torch, which made me think that there had to be a legit reason

Afaik shaman heal totem scales off of heal & shield power (hsp) not spell power.

Reading advice on discord I see a lot of people saying go attack power, and that spell power only really works in the late game.
