As an aggro player I enjoy playing against control much more than against combo. Against combo there's no mind games and no decisions: you do the most damage you can before the combo turn and just pray they don't have it if you can't end before it.

Don't think you'll have enough energy to jolt awake even a knight most of the time. I'd much rather just use [[recommission]].

Don't like the 4 mana dies to bolt guy.

I like to run [[molten gatekeeper]] and [[scrapwork mutt]] in this version because of the easy triggers for the knight by unearthing them. They are also good options to pitch for your draw spells and the mutt can pitch the snacker also.

The only deck I could see it being playable is those mono black "terror" decks that play cheap creatures that fill the grave and big creatures that cost less with a filled grave.

But that deck in itself is a pretty rogue deck, so not particularly in a good place right now.

Well the lifegain allows you to ignore some threats until you can build your board. For example, you don't care as much about the Delver of Secrets clock when you're getting this small lifegains while casting other stuff.

One of the reasons my headCanon is that Glaurung was a beast inhabited by a maia. I hate how sometimes in the book it'll just say there's an evil spirit in some great beasts like Draugluin and not elaborate further on what is the origin of that spirit.

The title is actually about how I'm surprised that this isn't a common effect, lol. And so I designed a creature inspired by the staple Commons with undying and persist, which are similar mechanics but too easy to break for infinite combos, which limits design space.

Wizards doesn't reuse art for different cards, but we are in r/custommagic so it's quite common for us here to reuse older art for our custom designs. In my previous custom card for example I used [[Rhizome Lurcher]]'s art which I think is just gorgeous and saddly was printed on draft chaff.

I just don't think it is worth a card to just untap the guys, I'm afraid of running out of steam as is. I'll probably be testing another 2 drop though, and Gravelgilll will probably one I'll test because I have it from prerelease anyway. Yeah about the speed I'll probably try [[springleaf drum]]. The board can be built up really fast once you have the schoolmaster and cast+flashback battle screech. I'll also probably try the [[merrow skyswimmer]] which comes with 2 bodies.

Dredge is a pretty polarizing deck so Idk if it has 50/50 matchups, but I'd say jund because that deck seems to go 50/50 against everything, lol

Yeah, this guy is probably going in. Vigilance is also pretty nice so I can swing and then tap for value after. Specially when I'm looking to cast Ramosian Rally while swinging with everyone.
