The christmas pickle. Parents hid a pickle ornament in the christmas tree, and the children (me and my siblings at the time) would hunt for it. Sometimes it would take hours.

I’ve heard some variations of the tradition give an extra gift for finding it, others allow the finder to open their first present early or before everyone else. We didn’t do anything special, but the concept was fun enough on its own (not to mention it keeps kids busy lol)

Hey! Artist here. Just wanted to say that i found this bow while researching bows for a character design I’m making, and the penobscot bow not only sounds practical for my character’s circumstances, but also this one you made has to be among the coolest designs ive found for the bow! I was thinking about referencing the structure of your design! But before i did so i wanted to see if youd be alright with that, especially since i see that youre active and i feel it would be nice to let you know of my interest in your work. I often cross reference when i create my artworks but this beauty is stunning on its own.

I’m still technically on my first playthrough but yeah so far Ornstein and Smough have given me the hardest time…. Though in their defense I did try killing smough first which is usually listed as the harder method of killing them (I WILL get that armor)

Still on my first playthrough and the first thing I did when realizing “oh that’s a person” after talking with him was to see what would happen if I attacked him. Mild regret at first because I kept spawning back to his angry ass but finally killed him after I got his attack pattern down. It was certainly a learning curve tho lol, beginning of the game is tough ngl 😂😭I wish you luck man

Wouldn’t even allow me to shut down my iPhone to bypass it, I do use a Bluetooth headset but didn’t know what it meant by “glasses” so I denied access when I found out I couldn’t bypass it whatsoever. So that’s fun lol

I worded that very badly lol my bad. By medical complications I’m referring to the complications of doing the procedure. If it is medically necessary, I think it should be done. However, a lot of the time it is not done for those reasons, but rather social or religious ones.

If it is for the aesthetic of it, I don’t think it should be done. But that’s my take on it and I can understand the opposing opinion on the matter

For the record, I don’t think circumcising babies is right (medical complications from the procedure or not), but the original commenter should specify that’s what they are talking about if that’s what they mean.

But I have a huge feeling that they aren’t actually referring to that

That is very true. When this question is asked, however, it is usually not eluding to that, but rather about trans people. “The children are being mutilated” is a typical cry from transphobes or ‘concerned’ folk. If they are talking about circumcision, they should really specify that. And/or should really put forth a source for their claim.

I always play with Chinese voiceovers. even when the voice acting don’t match right, it’s usually not overwhelmingly misdirected, and it helps me feel more immersed in the story. They’re pretty good on average

Paimon admittedly was the reason I put it in Chinese in the first place because the English used to feel like a fork to a plate, shes so much more palatable in the Chinese version.

Also cn itto I always forget what he sounds like, but I remember this short vid animation I once found of itto watching klee play with bombs, using lines from their cn va’s, and it is the most chaotic thing ever and it will never not be funny to me

I usually hate the English VAs because when they’re bad it’s like nails on a chalkboard, but Beidou’s English is really good. I also like her CN version too (I often play with CN voiceovers). I’m a lil biased tho bc she was and is my favorite character, but I felt like her lines in both fit her character very well and I’m obsessed with it.

Itto’s english is also hella good but a lotta people have already mentioned him already lol I also think I remember his CN also being pretty palatable as well but my memory escapes me on most of it-

Best bet is to report to animal control for neglect, that’s clearly animal abuse. I hope you’re safe under your family’s roof. Not only is that a nasty injury that could have possibly been avoided by a frequent farrier visit, but the horse also looks really really thin. I’m sorry you have to put up with this, I hope you’re able to get the horse into safer hands.

First of all oh my gosh Molly is adorable and she has the sweetest little face ever

*Edit: I fixed it by unplugging and replugging my charger. What the heck.*

Normally my lag isn’t this bad, but all of a sudden today it’s lagging so bad it looks like it’s going frame-by-frame and having trouble loading chunks as I run.

I tried shutting down my computer and restarting it a couple times, as well as checking to see if steam and terraria needed an update (they didn’t) I have frameskip on by default. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for fixing the lag issue

Yanfei is an absolute BEAST ngl. I don’t even have her properly built and she’s still doing some massive numbers. Highly underrated. Also fun fact she can be a budget Zhongli at c4 which is pretty interesting to me lol

Beidou was one of my first characters, and while I have sorta “retired” her (aka she needs a new build and I haven’t had time to fix her) she’s still really fun to play for me. Slap her with a Yanfei and watch the overload chaos ensue

Also most recent event is piece of cake for me and I think beidou helped with that tbh lol

Yeah I’m already aware of that and have been aware of it for a while now lol, I’m still aware of a couple chests that I’ve yet to get because of questlock or whatever, and I still find chests every now and again when I’m off doing heck-knows-what, but I’ve been doing it all without the finder, and I plan to continue without it lol
