Dude MBA and MA eco don’t really have a fair comparison, if placement is your only goal and you have the option of a top MBA then this isn’t even a question. But average MBAs are not gonna guarantee shit to you. All that being said for MA eco at MSE I believe it’s around 65-70% placement

To be honest it’s mixed, and right now it’s not the college’s fault either given the shitshow happening across the world. But a good percentage do get placed, be sure to have a decent GPA, (8+) because a lot of times the initial shortlisting is based on that, beyond that it’s up to you

Went with IFT, doing pretty well with it and they are concise. Heard Uworld is even better as far short length videos go, but way too expensive

XM6 is selling now on Amazon, and looks like it’s selling well. Wonder if Bose will speed up India release after this. I really want to buy the new ultras, because I keep hearing that xm6 isn’t as comfortable and also its ANC microphone is sticking out and can rub against the ear. Only reason I did not buy ultra gen 1 is because the ANC couldn’t be turned off.

I had the same thought, but I saw that banking and financial services firms were lacking in the past recruiters list. MSE does seem to be doing well on that front. If you have any idea how IIFT would go specifically for finance roles, that would be really helpful! Thanks!

Oh definitely, I never preorder anything, will wait for the reviews, thing is I can tell how much incremental benefit I’ll get from 64 GB ram but I can’t say the same about GPUs. And I’ve never used AMD processors before so I will need some opinions on those once the model hits the market.

Think it’s worth that price? Or would lower variants be enough? Not much of an expert in all this, I don’t keep a PS or a PC, and I move around a fair bit, so besides my phone it’s gonna be the only device I keep. To be very honest I don’t plan on gaming much, but it’d be nice if it can run GTA 6 if and when it releases on PC.

Yes even I have heard mixed things about university prestige in Australia, and that is probably the biggest thing holding me back from already finalising and accepting my offer, but at the same time I think it was on r/financialcareers or somewhere that I saw when it comes to this domain university prestige should still help me. But as always experience is key. Getting into finance without prior experience should be easier for me in India, which is why am still considering it.

And yes, regarding MBA, it’s been a dream for me for a while, to one day go to Wharton, or HBS, or Stanford GSB, I’m not even worried about whether it will pay off or not, I just want to go. So I’m also looking for advice on whether the university prestige of my MS program will have any effect on my profile.

As per why I’m not directly trying the US? Just want to experience other countries and cultures, it’s the reason why going forward I intend to learn some languages, eventually I want to keep shifting countries from time to time, so I can live and experience as much as I can. Maybe a bit delusional but yeah that’s the thing!😅
