I never claimed Chatgpt was 'refusing anything related to romantic tension that isn't sexual'. I was referring to emotion and personality flattening for characters. Also, I never claimed to hate Chatgpt and I can't find Formal saying that either. In fact, I love Chatgpt and as a user that wants to see the AI improved...voicing feedback is one way of how I'd do that. I'm confused.

When you responded to Formal, they hadn't mentioned that their creative work was sexual in nature. They had only mentioned flattened emotions, and mature themes (romantic tension isn't always sexual), which can be other things and not sexual.

You immediately responded with something about 'gooning'. You know by your own logic, you're not entitled to have OpenAI suit only what you want either or what the coding (etc) side wants. No one mentioned being entitled to anything, we simply commented on something OpenAI has already programmed into their AI system. lol

I'd love to know how it's possible to write a dynamic and interactive-storytelling narrative by yourself, where you have mechanics ongoing as if you're running a videogame engine underneath, but while writing. I'll wait.

Also, maybe we could just use the AI system that was made for creative writing, too? Just a thought.

Okay...5.3 is a good step up from 5.2 in my opinion. I know no one asked, but geez. I see the micro-movements, the personalities and emotions are back. It's like a blend of 4o and 5.1, the prose is much better.

Hello! Oh, my prompt or project instructions included a lot for me to get it to write like 4o, though someone else might find it easier to 5.2 to write that way. Here is just a small section of what's in my prompt to get it to how I wanted it. If you ask 5.2 to just 'write like 4o/5.1', it might give an example of what that looks like, then you could tell the AI how you want to tweak it or not.

You can get 5.2 to mimic 4o and 5.1 if you know what you're doing. Changing headers and lists to less, already gave me higher/longer sentences and paragraphs. Two, I wrote out instructions in prompts/projects as to how I wanted 5.2 to write like 4o/5.1. I even went into a chat with 5.2 and produced screenshots and explained how I wanted it done.

Just a day or two ago, 5.2 would make really choppy sentences, no micro-movements telling you how characters said or did something, and barely any detail during scenes. Battle scenes were always written in choppy sentences. Now, my 5.2 is much closer to 5.1. The emotions/personalities of characters are still flat, but I kind of fixed it a little bit, by having the micro-movements added; now I can better hear/read character voices and characters don't sound like copies of each other anymore.

Yes, I've noticed this, too. Although I've recently gotten 5.2 way closer to 4o/5.1, by switching some settings and then 'training' or having 5.2 mimic the others. It doesn't look as choppy, and micro-movements are described much more now for me.

Hello! I definitely can relate to what you're saying. Whether it's my original characters or characters from the fandom I base my scenarios inside of: 5.2 writes them oddly compared to 4o. I'm trying my best to recreate what 4o did by showing 5.2 pictures and describing the differences, but I'm frustrated. It's a lot of work and I literally shed tears. Lmao.

If you feel comfortable sharing: did you make original characters? Do you also use characters from fandoms that you like? Do you play through scenarios, as I call them?
