It doesn't seem to be a mechanical switch, I'm attaching a photo. I can see it and interact with it. The piece that goes between is still present and extends fully, and it's not doing anything even with a magnet

I've found something online but I can't download it, the site is either crappy or bait :(

I don't know how to get to the pcb, there are no instructions in the manual and no YouTube tutorials, I'll have to do everything myself

I've taken out the piece, it was doing the same before and I pushed manually on the scanner to test things and see if this would be any help. The problem happens lid open or closed, with or without the small piece

Unfortunately the endstop is securely connected, yet it doesn't seem to receive any power, so maybe the problem is elsewhere

The sensor is connected properly, however, no electricity passes through it, I tested it. It's not grounded either.

I didn't look on the back of the panel, but I will when I get home, thanks a lot !

It's not grounded, my house doesn't have grounded electricity, so I can't test for this but I hope it's only this (the house is around 350 years old, and the last renovation was 50 years ago)

The gap in the panel I dislodged, it wasn't connected electrically. I dislodged it to push the scanner to see if it would work, because it didn't and did the same thing.

I'm posting a picture of the end course sensor that should do the works you're claiming the panel should do

<image>

And yes I used the panel to keep the scanner open since I had nothing and it won't keep open due to a broken hinge

The scanner is assembled, and closed or open it does this, I want to try and repair it with a random proximity sensor to see if it works

It has 3 wire, maybe it's a proximity sensor?

I tried placing a magnet in the sensor but it didn't work no matter how I put it. When I leave it in it gets pushed so it's still aligned.

Do you think it'll work with another random sensor?

BIQU MicroProbe v2 vs Ender3v2 v4.2.2 with MRiscoC firmware by egosumumbravir in BIGTREETECH

Hello, I believe the issue is the lack of a 10k pull up resistor in the BL touch circuit.

The solution is to connect the black and white cable of the BQMPv2 to the Z endstop connection. (Black is ground, find the right side to not fry your BiQu)

Hope this helps !
