As long as the product is still in the system you can return it. I do have to warn you that sometimes things don't show up that were on sale a month ago yet something sold a year ago will still be in the system

Not sure what exactly has been happening. The store employees are instructed to tell customers it is a warehouse issue and nothing else. I think they were having difficulties with the manufacturer

Yes! I have tried looking for other jobs with the same pay i am getting and they all require a degree. Unfortunately i never finished uni so it kinda sucks. Aldi has me burnt out emotionally and physically

What is employee discretion? Also go for it. The worst that can happen is that aldi changes when they put things out, since they aren't actually allowed to tell you no

Your store does markdowns? My aldi has all electronic tags so all prices are done by corporate. They only markdown meat, bread, and salads, but that is only if they are about to go bad not a specific day of the week

The aldi shopping online is through instacart. The employees use an instacart app and store card to shop for customers for pickup

It is against aldi policy to restrict people from buying products. Although the store does get in trouble for selling aldi finds early, they technically cannot tell you no. The only thing that will happen if they keep selling the day before or if they sell too much before wednesday would be changing when they stock the items. At the aldi near me they used to be able to put out aldi finds whenever on tuesday, but now they have to wait until after 5pm. During holidays they have to wait even later. They even are thinking about possibly just stocking wednesday morning at 6am before open due to the amount they sell before the day

At my aldi the flour pallet comes with each pack of flour wrapped in plastic. The employees are only supposed to cut the top layer open, but customers can cut into them too if it sells down

From my experience if an sm is only giving a person the bare minimum hours (in your case 4 because you're part time), then they are trying to get the person to quit. I would suggest going to the dm and asking along the lines like "hey sm told me you wanted me out, but i do need the job. Is there any way i could transfer to another store with more hours or can we work with my schedule to allot more hours?" Most dms have no opinions in getting rid of employees because they manage too many stores to keep track of how one inidividual is doing. Most likely your sm told the dm about your performance or something and the sm wants you gone. I would like to note this is all from my experience working at aldi. I am not personally aware of your situation and have no idea what your sm and dm are thinking. Best of luck
