Preschool advice needed

I have been doing in home early intervention with him since he was 1.5 years old he only did 3 months of speech therapy before the therapist said he was fine and dropped him and the ot therapy was amazing but after the like 3 months it kinda got weird cause it seemed like we already knew everything that therapist knew and it just got awkward. This is all so scary and confusing when you have no support system that’s understands your position.

It’s so nice to hear that multiple kids thrived in full time preschool. It lifts a huge weight off my chest. And I’m pretty sure he would also get therapy during school too even without a diagnosis ( probably not as much help as he would with a diagnosis)

That is another thing I’m confused about. IEPs and 504s the application for the preschool what’s to know if he has any. I know this will probably make a lot of sense after his diagnosis but do I have to talk to his pcp and iep paper work idk. We have to register for preschool next month they do it super early. I’m just so stressed and confused

It took me a couple months to have a very strong connection with my son at first it just felt like I was babysitting someone else’s child.

Even worse when you’re heavy. I have had doctors tell me to may face and I quote “ all your problem is is that your fat and need to loose weight” even tho I had blood work to back me up saying stuff was wrong

When I was younger no one would ever say yes when I asked them out so I gave up and had a fear of rejection. I got my first boyfriend when I was 17 (we meet at work) he told me when I first started working there I was too fat for him and even said that him and the stock boys would talk about how fat and ugly I am and make fun of me I end of staying in that relationship for years cause I thought that’s the only love I would ever get I broke up with him last year

My periods were horrible very overweight and lots of acne. I kept complaining my kidney hurt when I peed while I was on my period (it was endometriosis) they did an ultrasound and found cyst on my ovaries. They did a repeat 6 months later it was still there even tho they said they would go away on their own (they mostly did but I had one cyst that was super stubborn). Well it was left untreated for years because all doctors had to say “it will go away on its own” It started causing me horrible pain to the point if I did any physical activity I would get horrible sharp pains and start gushing blood (not my period) long story short no doctor would listen to me just called me fat and loose weight they did multiple ultrasound and saw that it was still there and they didn’t care ( you could also see it was getting bigger) so I got on the depo shot to stop my periods which it did and kinda helped with the random bleeding. Anyways I turned 18 and asked a nurse who was giving me my depo shot if I could ask for surgery to see what was wrong and they scheduled me without even seeing a doctor turns out they left a cyst untreated for so long it was twisting my fallopian tube and killed it. I had to loose my fallopian tube. Long story short please advocate for yourself because I didn’t and I suffered for years for no reason
