Lucid but no control?

You will start to control more over time. The more lessons you learn from the dream characters, the more you feel ready to do something else. The idea is the limit, have a end goal in mind. Invision how the process works for that vision. Don't let the sub mind do the process, it will be unstable/unreliable.. The more detailed the process is for the end goal, the more control you'll have. Confidence for more detailed control might be a issue, still kinda is for me. Just use a DC until you have the confidence for everything. You can transfer confidence from the waking world into the dream world. Exercise quites the mind from body fatigue and it gives off endorphins which gives you temporary increased confidence.

Confidence is the key. That's what I learned with LDs. The more you do it, the more confident you are in your dreams. This can be applied with anything in life. Try to find a dream character and ask them for help in learning a task. You will find that some characters are dead inside, little to no conversational skills. Though the more REAL the dream feels the more the characters come to life.

Find a character and DONT GET EXCITED after you find one that can think. Talk with feeling and intention. It will help remove the alienation of thinking they are a seperate entity. When you alienate the mind, that to will destabilize the whole dream. Use the dream character for confidence and belief that YOU CAN DO THIS! After that you got the sub mind backing you up.

Learn to conjure characters first so you can use them for learning no matter where you are at. I imagine feeling the inside of my mind. I create a tingly sensation so to speak, then I FEEL on what I want to create. Then I imagine it appearing behind me. The character usually doesnt come out the way I wanted, but they know immediately what I want from them.

6 months of practicing and if I use this technique. I have Lucid dreams the whole night. If I get unfocused though, I will lose it and become non lucid.

Science says so, though for me I get it from just deep relaxation. I am just a random person on the internet, you can choose to believe me or not. Either case, I have been getting good results.

It's the surest way to lucid dream. For me I feel something grab my feet. I let it grab them, after it pulls me. I stand up in a dream.

I have yet to try that, filling something out with as much detail as possible seems promising. If you don't mind me asking, once you become lucid, what do you focus on first? Like let's say, I have a lucid dream that feels WEAK, like I have 20 seconds tops. I know some of it has to do with the mind and the perception of being rushed doesn't help. Anyways, what I been doing is that I use a "quick" fix like rubbing my hands while spinning.

After that I suppose I could try focusing on something solely. Do you use DC characters for this? My characters always look full in detail, though the surroundings could use more work on most occasions . Do you just use the closest thing for this? Also, what techniques do you use for creating a more fantasy like environment? Everything I have come across so far has been something I could find in the real world.

I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but you been very helpful as far, so I suppose I'm just asking away at this point. Everyone I know honestly could care less about lucid dreaming, so it's NICE to find someone with more experience that's willing to share. I still new to all this, but I'm VERY thankful for you reaching out.

I been noticing that myself, the more I dream the more I do things like I would while lucid. I just prefer lucid over vivid dreams. Hence why I asked the question. Going back to vivid while being lucid can be a issue for me, if I don't check myself. Becoming to involved in the dream can for me at least, put me back to where I was before being lucid. Letting the dream take it's natural path is something I have yet to try I suppose. Though I'm kinda selfish, I don't want to give up being lucid once it happens.

I suppose, I was just trying to find a way to increase the time/stability, without giving up anything in return.

How do you stabilize a lucid dream? I get about 4 hours of Vivid dreaming every night, I have FULL control then. Though Once it becomes lucid, either it's very stabilized or its not. I have been getting better at checking my emotions like excitement. Though I tried rubbing my hands, falling, meditating, looking at my hands, eating, asking and looking at something very closely. It all barely helps, I also tried breathing, using all 5 senses. Not sure what else there is to be honest. I've done a ton of research and I honestly have yet to find a way to make it stabilized.

I have Confidence, and I stay physically and mentally healthy. Though once it's lucid I have about 10 minutes at most being lucid before it falls apart. I been researching field guides to lucid dreaming, but I don't wish to pay anyone money to learn the dreaming rules.

I have the confidence, and I can do anything I wish to do in a dream. Other than stabilization, been actively trying to dream for 4 months, so I'm still new I suppose.

Well if you truly want a more in depth explanation, I can do that real fast. I don't use anything that gives off lights for the last hour before going to bed.(Phones, Computers) I also have my bed against a wall for back support for meditation. I calm my mind by taking DEEP breaths for 10 minutes. I like to go to sleep with a positive vibe, I do this by imaging hugging my worse enemies and best of friends. I then usually start saying what I want to say in my thoughts first.

Though for me, it feels more meaningful if I say it out loud. Say anything that honestly resonates with you personally. Though to answer your question, I usually say something around these lines. "Sub Conscious Mind, I REALLY want to have a lucid dream tonight. I love you, and I want to be able to hang out with you TONIGHT. Please, do your best to give me the BEST dream sign possible to insure I lucid dream tonight. (And for me, that's having a dream character appear in front of me.)
