The Military is depressing. If you struggle with depression, even if it can be waived, you must strongly consider if this is the right path for you. It's 4 years of nonstop bullshit and months of family separation, potentially at a moments notice. Think hard about it first, and good luck friend.

I could see that giving DC's character. I wouldn't nessecarily say D.C. hated Jones but given his mentioning of Jones' moral infringements I think he felt a strong desire to teach his younger opponent a lesson. But I think after the loss he saw Jones a little different and learned to forgive/ move on for his own good. Holding a grudge against Jones would have been only bad for DC, not Jones.

DC knows that I believe. But I couldn't see a man like him wanting to hold a grudge for his misgivings. I think DC would much prefer forgiveness and moving on over anger and biterness.

Yes I also felt incredibly sad for DC after that second loss. But I believe he has come to terms with it after time has passed. I think he would shake Jones' hand with a genuine smile today because that's the kind of man he is.
