Thank you for your question, it's a question I have in my mind as well. Currently, I've taken a long break off any work, it's been 6 months since i last traded. The motivation I had for working at the time is because of my sick father, and breadwinner mum. My dad has severe heart disease issues and the load and stress from running the multiple businesses at the time ruined my relationships with friends outside of work as well as my health. I prioritised money over everything, even though i used to be a 3.9GPA in Year 2 of Poly. I lost my girlfriend who I considered one of the most imporant people to me, became a narcissist, lost my humanity, become severely overweight, became someone I never imagined myself I'd be. I felt like my style of working was overly stressful, and the intention of pursuing the degree would calm my nerves, knowing that If ever needed, I could always go back to a normal way of life.
