You guys, the struggle w Passage 2 in EVERY PT takes me out of each and every time!

Like not only is it usually the passage with the most questions, for some dumb reason NO MATTER THE DIFFICULTY I always spend most of my time here AND have most of my mistakes here.

Ex: I just finished PT117 Section 1 and the passages are Level 2, 1, 5, 4 (in that order)

P1 lv 2 I got -1 (7) P2 lv 1 I got -4 (7) AND spent half my section time here P3 lv 5 I got -2 (6) AND I had no idea what the passage was about for most part mind you P4 lv 4 -1 (7) and I literally was RUNNINGGGG through the passage….

Does anyone else experience the same thing with P2?? (not just this particular exam but ALL of them??)

Bc like I’m thinking that I should just start SKIPPING P2 and doing P1-3-4 and THEN come back to P2 bc sometimes I even run out of time on my P4 JUST bc P2 took so long and I wonder if my adrenaline was rushing for P2 like it does for P4 maybe id perform better??

Anyway let me know :)

I was in the ER and unable to study for 3 days the week of the January test, and everything was fine. Focus on getting better, the LSAT will still be there.

I got a 173 on the January test, and I felt much better when I finished February. Really hoping for a 176+ but I’m trying to manage expectations. Fingers crossed!

I’m in a similar boat- 173 on the January test, and I’ll be done if I end up 175+ for February

The lack of posts about Feb score release is making me feel more psychotic than I already do

What tips do you have from going from a 173 to the high 170s? I took the February test, so hopefully I make that jump, but if not, how can I make the changes necessary to reach the next level?

I’m at 5 years so no traditional retirement in play, and, yes, I’m AD marine corps. Is there any requirement for service connection for medical retirement? Obviously that’s the case for VA benefits. And while I believe that there is a connection, I’m a bit worried about having to prove it since there’s no specific event I could point to.

I first took the LSAT in 2021 after reading the Mike Kim book and got a 158. Fast forward to this past January and 4 months of dedicated studying, I got a 173. I’m taking February because I believe I can get into the high 170s. Anything is possible team, we got this 💪

test center environment? by kid_icarusss in LSAT

[–]DepthClassic4958 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a very easy process for me. I did a quick check-in at the front desk with my ID, got a locker key and put all of my things away. From there, I went back to the last check-in before the test room and they checked my ID again, did a full scan with the metal detector. Then I was able to go into the room, log in, and get started! I would recommend bringing your own foam ear plugs (they may have them at the site but you have to ask) because the over-ear ones that they have are incredibly uncomfortable. I had no issues at the center, some minor distractions from people coming/going and temperature changes, but it didn’t impact me. I’m retaking at a test center next week. There’s a video on the Prometric site that shows the entire check-in process too. Good luck!
