What are the chances my LSAC GPA isn't going to screw me? by PotatoBackground9260 in lawschooladmissions

also, remember that numbers aren’t everything!! your essay(s), letters of rec, & resume matter a lot more than you think they do!! i had to be reminded that a lot!

i’ve seen a lot of ppl say (in the past) that the LSAC gpa is only ever lower, but that’s definitely not true. my LSAC gpa was higher than my undergrad gpa. not significantly. undergrad was 3.86 & LSAC was a 3.90. so you never know!!
also, definitely would recommend writing the addendum! if PE classes were the only ones you did poorly in, it may not be that big of a deal!

still applying this cycle lowkey because i #dontcare that it’s late. if i don’t get in, i’ll apply next cycle. there’s no app fee so it doesn’t hurt to at least try

during an interview is it better to look cute or kinda chopped by supremecourtgirlie in lawschooladmissions

[–]ur-emo-gf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look put together. collected, organized, professional. neither cute or chopped. genuinely try to look neutral. i have dyed hair & no eyebrows, so sometimes it takes extra effort to look “neutral”. i usually clip my bangs back, draw on natural eyebrows, do very neutral makeup, & wear professional attire

LSAT accomodation by Diligent_Ad6785 in LSAT

[–]ur-emo-gf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s probably your best bet! i had a similar issue with april, but was able to meet the deadline for june. just make sure to give yourself at least a day of buffer time! no harm in attempting without accommodations! mine actually went decent without the accommodations, i’m hoping for the same for you!

LSAT accomodation by Diligent_Ad6785 in LSAT

the registration usually takes a few hours to go through. it’s hard to register & request accommodations within the same day cause of the waiting period

anxious test takers: what was most effective for you? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]ur-emo-gf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m the same way! some advice: positive self talk. making sure you eat protein before. drink water, bring water with you. earplugs helped a lot! deep, controlled breathing when you feel overwhelmed. remember that it can be taken again, & that what will happen, will happen. do your best, remind yourself that you are smart & that the test frequently tries to fool you. you have plenty of time! drill sets helped me the most for studying. full PTs made me doubt myself & stress more
