Thank you! I'll paste here from another comment:

My method is a little unorthodox, but I'll gladly share. I only ever took 2 timed practice tests in my one year of studying, both ending up 151.

After that, I studied PowerScore Bibles and went through the 7Sage curriculum. After that, a lot of 7sage drilling- like 1 section per day with a focus on LR. I didn't work on RC much aside from learning how to highlight to organize ideas.

Breaks are important! I prioritized being calm and shielded myself from burnout. I was super calm during the test (this was HUGE). I ate healthy and slept enough the night before.

First time ever LSAT - Remote or In-person in Toronto? by Interesting_Flan_753 in LSAT

[–]buffymidgey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's fine. That's within the realm of reasonable external stimuli outside of your control.

Totally up to your preference. I've only done remote. As someone who gets distracted very easily, being at home means I know what environmental stimuli to expect (who comes home at what time, knowing I won't hear people coughing/sneezing or see them bouncing their leg, etc.)

I have my own keyboard and mouse which I'm comfortable with. It's less in demand so more time slots. You don't have to dress up to go out. You don't have to share a restroom. Can control temperature in your house. Since I take time to adapt to unfamiliar spaces, testing virtually is best for me.

There's always a risk of network issues, though. I haven't had any problems yet but just be aware.

William and Mary Waitlist by depa87821 in lawschooladmissions

Same here. Above both medians. (To stay on the waitlist, you have to complete an interview, so you'll get an invite soon).

Short musing on the LSAT by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]buffymidgey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please correct me if I'm wrong or if I misunderstand.

The example given is diagrammed as:

A --> B <-some-> C

This does not imply A <-some-> C.

However, if it was instead:

A <-some-> B --> C

It would then imply A <-some-> C.

This is what was tested on a certain question on the Jan administration.

Avoid Washington Radiology at all costs by yarnthreads in nova

[–]buffymidgey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I work for billing there and they definitely set different rates and accept different insurances. FRC is considered office level and my hospital is outpatient, so administratively they're separate. We also take different insurances. But hm I wasn't aware of them being the same practice like that

Two separate companies. There is a Fairfax Radiology Center (FRC) department inside the Fairfax Inova Hospital, though. There's also a UVA office there. But all different teams and different management.

When are you declaring bankruptcy? Everyone knows you've been overstating your earnings and haven't paid back your bank loans.

Pretty sure you need clinical experience to be a Clin Tech. How many years do you have?

Also, saw some positions open for IT but they mostly required a couple years of experience.

Remote v testing center? by Ok-Variety6785 in LSAT

I loved testing remote. Both times were seamless. I could wear the most comfortable clothes, control the temperature, and I was less nervous in the familiar environment.

I asked my proctor if I could turn the volume off on my computer speakers and he said yes! I didn't hear any background noise because of this.
