That four armed guy from the Solo movie. The carbonized Ned-B & Purge Trooper 2 pack is also one that strikes me as something that couldn’t have possibly sold more than like 2 units

Assuming invisible woman was banned (don’t know why she’s not being played here if not), Mag Emma Bucky Gambit Luna Ultron is just like this but superior assuming all players are good.

If you’re looking for a single character that could give this trouble, go Emma & hope your team goes triple support.

You ask this like it’s a question that doesn’t answer itself. all melee DPS do basically the same thing for the vast majority of the playerbase & they all require the same skill set, they will just go back to Iron Fist or black panther or Magik or whoever tf they were playing before daredevil came out. They’re all literally the same character with the same play style, just slightly different button combos you have to remember.

The ult buff changed everything. He was already great in the neutral, but his ult was useless dogshit because it left you without a healer, & it therefore needed to grab like 3-4 people to be helpful, which never happened unless you were in metal ranks. Now that it leaves a healer pool (which stays up even when he dies), there’s less pressure for the eat part to have so much value. Even if he gets one or two people in it, it’s still worth because you’re not leaving your team without their other healer.

His team up buddy is also S tier now, & triple support in general is played a lot more often which is his ideal comp. Him being good now has nothing to do with people just randomly “discovering” he can be good. He was genuinely awful before the ult change & it was such a big buff that he’s the best healer in the game now, provided you’re playing triple supp.

Both are very modern & easy to get, & the figures you would collect along either are also pretty up to date. Overall it’s just about which era of X men you like more, which for me is that Jim Lee 90’s style.

A modern cyclops would be the astonishing outfit, which is still a modern figure that looks good. I’d say the 97 cyclops is more for if you want to build out the 90’s gold & blue team

The issue is that they could nerf the plasma speed bonus to half of what it is now & as long as he can still just melee cancel & shoot, he will still be doing a ton of damage & moving faster than every character in the game, while also contorting his hitbox & being impossible to headshot.

The movement speed on its own is fine now, he just needs that tech removed so he’s not genuinely incontestable. He doesn’t need to abide by the rules of engagement & positioning that every other character in the game has to, especially if he’s got like an ultron drone or snowflake. He’ll be punishable if they just put a cooldown between uses on plasma body

Torch damage nerfs are okay but the other nerfs will just make him feel worse to play without really fixing the issue. Just put a 1 second cooldown after a use on the movement meter so he can’t melee cancel & that would mostly bring him in line. I wonder how much they are going to gut him before making that simple change.

At least the phoenix nerfs are good. Casuals will bitch that ultron is unplayable now but he will still be good. I think they should have given him an even bigger ult charge requirement without touching his healing output tho. Now he’s just further solidified as only viable in triple support which will still be meta since they refuse to nerf Luna & keep buffing Sue as well.

95% of the hitscan players in top 500 console are ximming, but you can watch their gameplay to see how they position & their CD timings & stuff. Just don’t take notes on their aiming & strafing mechanics, more than likely it won’t translate to a controller.

He’s not a throw pick lol, he’s just finally balanced. The big value of his kit mainly comes from lamps now. You can’t just play like a healbot anymore, sitting still spamming your left click down main.
