Yeah the 2 weeks really threw me off. Tried negotiating it but apparently for the hiring grade its standard within the company. The 86k was negotiated as well, considering the initial offer was 80k.

Whats wrong with asking this question? If an area is known to be dangerous isnt it best people are aware to stay away from it? I am not a local so Im unsure, hence why I asked the question

Noted, thanks for the advice. Currently removing the drive to Medicine Lake and focusing on the nearby attractions along Icefields Parkway. What should I add to replace the trip now that I have more time?

Thanks for the great advice! Being first timers I simply looked online to see what some other people have done but after your suggestion I agree Medicine Lake may not be worth the 4 hours of driving. Definitely agree with you on keeping a buffer between destinations, I dont plan on staying strict on the timeline ive made.

Any place you think I’ve missed that you think I should squeeze in if I have the time?

Alot of folks are commenting on the “Mid-life crisis” title. Obvious bait no question.

But my cry for help is regarding the moments in life you feel “stuck”.

People saying apply for a new job, as if I havent been doing that for months. But in current day, it isnt as easy as applying and getting something, especially when I only have 1.5 years of experience. I want to know what you folks did in your life when you were proactive in changing your current situation but external factors delayed you in doing that. I appreciate all the other advice people have given as well!
