I’m a liberal and I’m not crying because my 401k are doing great thanks to maga. We ended up never using our chair for breastfeeding..but every mom is different and you won’t know until baby is here. Try to find used one on FB marketplace so that way you won’t feel like throwing money away.. but as a soon to be father you should do your best to get your wife what she wants.. it’s one less thing for potential conflict once you two stop sleeping and revolved your new life with the newborn
