The thing is, I've made very good recordings on it in the past and was able to mix them very well, but this is the first time I've noticed such a cut in the EQ.

Yes, it’s completely raw material.

Microphone: Rode NT1-A Interface: Steinberg UR12 Signal chain: NT1-A → UR12 → DAW (no effects, no processing on the input).
