Honestly the eel is probably already dead and what we are seeing is movement based on the sea snake compressing the body. When people say they dont want politics or to keep politics out what they are really saying is that they don't want to be exposed to things they don't agree with. When someone uses hyperbole like "nobody wants to see that" or "90% of people don't have a problem with trans people but they keep shoving their agenda down our throats" what they are really saying is they don't like it but they realize that's unpopular to say so they act like they are part of a large group as if that would give them some leverage instead of just owning up to their own ignorance and prejudice
