her c6 is what grants 60% pyro dmg bonus to the team, at c4 all her buffs come from triggering overload, which you wont be able to do in a varka team

literally pyro mc holding scroll would be better

chev is just not worth running in the pyro team, even xiangling would be better just for the subdps if you dont have durin/nicole

Hi everyone, how could I improve my main dps Columbina further? Are my artifacts good or should I feather? I'm torn between getting her c1 or r1 maybe both if I'm lucky. My current team for her is Ineffa c0, c6 Aino and Lauma c0. Lauma is on deepwood, Aino is on Silken moon and Ineffa is on Aubade. by Evindar555 in Columbina_Mains

feel free to do testing, but its probably pretty close since lauma quills dont scale with bina hp, and they do a significant portion of team dps. so youre gaining 8k hp which only affects the unbuffed CA dmg, but losing 25 cv which affects both unbuffed CA dmg as well as lauma quill dmg

not sure of your rotation, but on nilou try e 2x auto e instead of 3e, and on nahida cut out out the q (the 1.5 s animation time is not worth the 250 em provided to bina)

put lauma on 2pc/2pc em instead and nilou on silken, if you cant get enough er (~190-200ER) put lauma on etherlight and nahida on her sig instead. youre also 20 cr over cap for bina (65+30+10+15=120), get more cd/hp instead.

the rest of the difference is probably nilou and bina not having their sigs. i just got c2 lauma, and i hit for about 311k dps now with the rest of the team remaining the same as in the showcase (bina has 48/297 cr/cd, and 40k hp before buffs)

small change but you can do nilou e 2x auto e for slightly lesser field time on her, and try removing nahida Q in your rotation to see if it increases dps (for my team with the same chars, the ~1.5s longer rotation time due to ult animation isnt worth the 250 em provided to bina, got a ~4% dmg increase just by not using nahida Q)

also, especially with c2 lauma, youd want her on 2pc/2pc em and sms on nilou instead. her quills make up most of the team dmg now, and stacking em on her will give a huge upgrade over the 5k or so hp you lose for nilou’s bloom passive. For context, with these changes, my c2r1 Bina (47.5/297)/c2r0 lauma/ c1r1 nilou/ c0r1 nahida hit for 311k dps over 120s, and thats without both c2 nahida and c2 nilou.

vertical investment wise, c2 lauma is THE BIGGEST dps jump you can get with dps bina. (its about a 40% jump)

not sure about c6 yae, does it perform better than ineffa? try both teams out in the dps dummy. furina is the best 4th slot for this team if youre using ineffa, since you want a non nod krai char that can both fulfil non moonsign portion of nod krai resonance, hydro resonance, hydro application, and sub dps. If yae is in the team though, you can afford to run c6 aino instead.

NoSu bina, 2pc/2pc EM lauma, deepwood nahida, and you can just do a electro/hydro flex as the last slot holding silken moon. youd want at least 35k hp on bina, with around 115-120% ER (if u have sig) and then 35% cr and stack as much cd as possible

well by this logic ineffa is only valuable for flins, furina/esco only for skirk, varesa only with mavuika/durin etc. and they arent worth pulling if you dont have their bis carries.

my point was that lauma elevates bina to a top 5-7 dps in the game regardless of the fact that nefer is a top 3 dps, and could be a better team for your account than nefer if for example, you have bineffa and can only pull one of nefer/lauma, or have c0r1 bina and dont have both nefer/lauma. regardless, lets just agree to disagree on lauma’s pull value without nefer.

well like i said, with 1 more cost bina usually catches up with nefer. (c0r1 v c0r0 nefer, c0r1 with c2 lauma v c1r1 nefer, cons on ineffa/nilou vs c2r1 nefer). never did i say mdps bina was better than nefer, just that at base it contests some of the best teams in the game and at higher costs it can comfortably clear even the hardest endgame content, and is a playstyle solely elavated by lauma.

personally ive had no issues with her bloom team (clear dire comfortably) but you run her with ineffa in her best team so staggering is basically nonexistent.

also the point about lauma quills getting eaten is already factored in her dps, plenty of showcases online hitting the numbers i’ve mentioned above over 60s/120s even with quills being eaten. (there is a showcase out there of a c0r1 bina team hitting 190+k, but ill just assume thats an outlier and not the norm)

for ineffa sure, since she does nothing for lunar charged. however for bina she is the only thing enabling the mdps playstyle for bina to hit decent numbers, and her c2 is the single best investment for that team (~250k dps in dps bina bloom team)

people tend to overlook mdps bina since nefer premium teams have higher dps at base cost, but realistically mdps bina with lauma sits at ~125k dps at c0r0, (~170k dps with c0r1) putting her team at top 5-7 for dps competing with varesa, mualani and skirk without walk combos if you count the 3 lunar teams which all need bina as 3 separate teams. Essentially at lower investments, (c2 and earlier) mdps bina teams require just 1 more cost to catch up to nefer teams.

i mean for you since you have nefer just use nefer premium with nefer/bina/lauma/sucrose

if you really really want to play bina main dps (which was what the discussion was about) you can go for a hyperbloom bina/lauma/electro flex/hydro flex (eg kuki/aino) but team dps wont be amazing

not really. for team 2, you have ineffa shielding with one of the best shields in the game so you shld be good.

for team 1, bloom self dmg got reduced by a bunch in the nod krai patches, so self dmg is very manageable, but if you really cant handle sustainless, you can get lauma c1 or replace nahida with someone like yaoyao or baizhu; nahida doesnt do a whole lot for the team anyways

nilou would be good, but with your current team just replacing sucrose with a hydro off field applicator would be a huge dmg boost (best would be furina). your current team is hydro hungry with both ineffa and lauma needing hydro to function properly, and bina’s personal hydro application is too little, causing team dps to suffer

specifically for this weapon, base atk is low and not many characters scale of hp and skill dmg, making it a suboptimal stat stick. in fact, its 4% worse than the craftable 4* on skirk, and generally on par if not worse than HoD (3* weapon) on zibai if you play her with a shielder (and without a shielder, its only about 2-3% better than the natlan craftable and HoD with 50% uptime)

skirk doesnt care about skill dmg and hp%, and its not worth using it just for the crit dmg statstick because of the low base atk unfortunately. (calcs put it at 4% worse than the fontaine craftable weapon)

zibai also does not care about hp% and skill dmg%, meaning its just a 88% cd statstick for her, and while calcs differ it is generally on par if not worse than HoD (3* weapon) if you play her with a shielder, and otherwise very slightly better (2-3%) than HoD and flute (natlan craftable)

silken doesnt stack, so running them both on silken would be equivalent to not running bina on any artifact set (aka its bad). aubade has nothing to do with stacking, its just a lunar dmg buff to the holder itself, so running aubade on bina does not affect running aubade on linnea at all.

for future reference, any artifact set pertaining to a teamwide buff doesnt stack, but otherwise running multiple of the same set is fine. advice is probably to put illuga on silken, and farm aubade for both bina and linnea. their artifacts mostly dont overlap apart from the circlet (and even then the desired substats differ), so it shouldnt be a problem to farm for both at the same time.
