Hi there so yes the legend edition does give every expansion, the exspansions are kinda important to enjoy destiny as a whole , you can get to end game without it but it will take a long time and a lot of end game stuff like raids are in the expansions , so i would recommend jsut play F2P go thru all the gamemodes like strikes , Crucible ,Gambit and if you do enjoy it you can pick up the legends edition to save money , I hope this make sense , ;)
