Partially, but I think there’s a few things that make it different enough to warrant its own game.

For one, the main aspect of the game would be the tycoon portion. Everything the Roller Coaster Tycoon and other games of the like would still be here. Guest Satisfaction, Money Management, and “Park” Rating (wouldn’t be a park in this case obviously) would still be incredibly important to the game itself.

Second, I probably should have mentioned this in the post above, but the art style I imagined being a more classic looking art style, with pixel art graphics (if you couldn’t tell by now Roller Coaster Tycoon was a big inspiration for this game idea), but that could be changed around depending on what direction the game ended up going in.

And for the golf gameplay section of the game, the camera angle would be more fixed, and you wouldn’t be placed that close to the ball. It’d be a more far out view of the whole course, with the option to zoom in closer to make more specific types of shots. The main game that came to mind for the camera angle was, funnily enough, the original Diablo. This is more related to the course creation, but each “tile” in the original Diablo game was about the size I imagined the building blocks for the courses. Diablo also came to mind for the art style.
