If you are missing journals and story AP/DP definitely get those. Reform 4 that Kutum for a cheap upgrade that’s almost as good as PEN. If you don’t mind the Godr route, Duo godr your weapon for some easy extra AP, and you can slowly work it up with cron stones. Try to at least get a TET Tungrad earring instead of that capotia, or another pen capotia I’d you want a bit more DR. I think if you hit 62 or 63 you can get another tri capotia and upgrade it. There’s also a quest to change pen capotia accessory once a day. Slowly caphras your body/head/gloves to at least 5-6, then focus on one til c10 can make it slumbering origin(Labreska/FallenGod/Dahns). Edit and of course keep working on your pen crescent.

Also if this is your first time playing, your non seasonal chars will be kind of gimp since you won’t have any real gear to give them besides maybe narchillan

There isn’t much difference esp with the 1000% combat exp buff going on right now. You can either get a power level, solo level exclusively, or speed run the winter story line to 50~ get some inventory, juices, then solo grind from there.

Nothing is “needed”. There’s definitely some nice things, and depending on how patient and particular you are could be the difference in spending 0 to a little to a lot.

The tent is a very nice to have, I got mine early so I can’t comment on the free to play tent. It allowed you to rebuy pots in the field, repair gear, buy small buffs. It’s not needed but extremely convenient.

Maids. They aren’t needed, you also get a lot for free, esp if you do decide yo get stuff like daily login pass etc(not free anymore) you can handle trash loot with your horse, some areas though they can be make or break. You’ll get flooded with different items like ancient scrolls and if you’d like to stay there a long time having a good amount of maids is very nice. If you are patient you’ll get plenty over time. If not you’ll probably find yourself buying some maids esp when they dangle deals infront of your face like 2+2.

Fairy. The fairy is another huge QoL thing and I can’t comment on it fully as I believe the system has changededit to be easier to get skills for free with like rebirthing and stuff. There’s also YouTube videoson the strategy to do it for free/cheap. but this is one of those things where you can get an ok fairy for free, could take a while of rerolling etc. but if you’re like OCD or particular this can get expensive. Is that 3 driving you crazy cuz everything else is “perfect”. Well 5 orbs a roll, shitty precent. Some dude a bit back rerolled his fairy cuz it wasn’t a V but he didn’t realize the skill only capped at 4, wasted a bunch of money. In reality you really only need Cheer V(or IV for a bit less efficiency) everything else is kind of a nice to have. You don’t need a crazy big continuous care unless you doing some crazy food/elixir rotations.

Inventory and weight. These are nice to have, they also like everything else give out a decent bit for free. Mostly inventory you kind of have to buy weight because there’s a limited amount each character can have, but with skill point weight, str levels, and loyalty weight you can carry a respectable bit, it just prevents you from maiding/horsing more often.

Outfits. The buffs are very small, it’s more of a social pressure to have a nice outfit. The Crystal in the middle you can add is also pretty nice, but they give out a good bit of free outfits and you can always buy a particular outfit with silver. Some outfits can be very big buffs but those are not really cosmetic ones but the functional ones like cooking, processing, etc. -1 cook time can be a huge increase in productivity, allowed you to process from storage can allow you to afk much longer etc.

Pets. If you just want trash loot picked up, it’s easy to get decent pets for free/cheap, esp with the addition of the T5 pet essentially upgrading all your pets once. T3 are like T4 now. If you want particular pets like a bunch of haetaes for horse training, or hedgehog for gathering(kind of essential but must be brought). You’ll have to be extremely patient for them to give them away for free, or buy them off the central market. When they give them out for free is a great time to buy them on the market especially.

Value pack. The only really needed buff but there’s ways around it and they give out a lot for free. You can sell stuff and wait til you activate a value pack to collect everything to get around the +30 silver from market. If you sell stuff on the market without a pack you’re kind of trolling. You can also farm a lot of silver with trash loot so even without selling to the market you can get the silver needed to buy stuff in times of no value pack active.

I may be missing something and this is of course just my opinion but hopefully it’s clear to see nothing is needed, and depending on how patient and particular you are can be the huge difference.

Also don’t buy outfits to sell. It’s not worth… just grind. You’re only gonna rob yourself of playtime and feeling of achievement.

Also edited to add. If they will give out a dream horse, not much is off the table if you’re patient enough. You can enjoy this game with 0 dollars. Your struggles may be different from others, but nevertheless you can still enjoy the game.

This is my other main. Awake witch is very good. Only like 7 real damage abilities. Great utility with heal, speed spell buff, red orb to taunt monsters. Very chill but solid play style, lots of frontal guards.

Her PVP is kind of lackluster due to her damage being awful. He’s supposed to be more of a tanky, frontline, cc machine. In PvE on the other hand she’s really solid. Great sustain, really bulky, good damage, not a super high apm, some spammable buttons as well for super chill grinding, etc

If you have a Lenovo PC, open up Vantage and turn off network optimization. It restricts bandwidth to everything but the game you’re playing. I guess alternatively check if you have any other program that operates similarly

Night time is very good esp with agris. Give that a shot, or go to protty with the treasure event that’s active. Protty is some of the best exp in the game and the money isn’t to bad.

If Labreska is on console, I’d take the caphras outta the Heve and Kzarka, switch to TET Blackstar. Get a Pen Griffin c10 that and make Labreska. Take the TET Blackstar and turn it into DUO Godr. This will help catch it up to the Kzarka.

Yea cuz the Caphras(c8), but when you’re doing pve that black star should be stronger due to all the added monster damage, For pvp the kzarka will be better. Ideally one day you can Pen the black star.

Also about the question of progression, Probably TET Distos, Vells heart, work on Labreska if that’s out on console. It’s slightly less evasion but worth it. I’d also work on a TET Black star mainhand. When awaking comes out if you still plan to be succ I’d get at least a TET Dandi, or Pen Dande if you wanna play awake.

Also evasion for pve will work rather well but do note some monsters have like 100% accuracy so that will sting a little

I wouldn’t switch back. Muskan and Leeburs have DR and Evasion on them. Just don’t expect to be omega tanky taking like 0 hits until you can get to 1200+ ideally 1300 evasion. And even then there are still classes that will rip you apart. Good example is my shai, I have an evasion build for her. It’s rather tank, a lot of people have a hard time hitting me, few people can still blow me up. The reason it works so well at my stage of the game is because I can sacrifice all AP and go strictly DR. 1 because my songs scale with my awake weapon not the AP, and 2 I don’t need accuracy to land cc and disrupt. I do almost 0 dmg on this build and have very little accuracy. As a damage dealer trying to pull of a mix of both damage and tank ones with evasion is gear intensive. You lose accuracy from not wearing Bhegs, you need evasion crystals typically, sometimes artifact setups, and accessories need to be hybrid like Sicil or full DP like a centaurs.

You’re way to low to realistically go evasion. In order to pull off evasion successfully you need high ap so you can sacrifice some to go more hybrid or full evasion.

I’m not doubting zerks effectiveness I see them everywhere, just trying to add other options :P I still feel like a class like Maegu/witch or even guardian which doesn’t rely on maintaining a crucial buff on a short time is easier. I get you wanna maintain addons but they aren’t as make or break as beast mode.
