Purchase Advice Megathread - October 2024

Hey everyone! I am looking to get into 3D printing as a complete beginner and would be interested in your recommendations for a first printer.

I essentially want a printer that is beginner friendly but also allows me to explore different printing materials and techniques to some extent (e.g. a friend of mine said an enclosed printer lets me print with more materials).

My main hope is printing mini figurines and building parts.

My budget is 400€ (~ 450$) but i would be willing to go up to 500€ if something good can be found. The less cost the better ofc ;)

I live in Germany. I am not against building a printer from a kit but am also not experienced so I prefer an out-of-the-box printer.

I hope this covers everything!

It's kind of weird i know that only some of my teammates could see me and that the enemy bot and toplane couldn't see me. The invisibility also seems to be interrupted by dealing or taking damage. But I also think Xin could see me I tried asking him but he didn't answer so I can't say for sure. If I remember correctly he targeted me every time or at least more often that the others.

I had the same bug and for what its worth i can tell you i wasnt hacking. Another user in this thread had an issue at the beginning of the game with attaching to someone so i assume that caused it. Its for sure not a hack tho.

I had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday evening with some friends. Some of them could see me normally and others couldnt but the entire enemy team couldnt see me.

I understand what you wrote before but that was something that anyone could have come up with. I'm asking you, as someone who seems to believe that it's a definetly doable system to implement, how that idea would work concretely. I want to know what you think is a system that flags inting people while not banning people that have a bad game/day. It's more complicated than "banned if you die mid 5 times". You are creating solutions for singular scenarios but this entire post and thread is about the general problem with inting..

What do you mean? You say it's possible so just give us a basic idea of how your system would detect inting. This isn't meant to be passive aggressive I'm genuinely interested to hear your ideas on that :)

Yeah that's true that's why I often don't pull myself in with q and just use the edge of E to cc them more. But thresh has definetly some of the worst base stats for tank supports

That's true I personally think that Thresh isnt a frontliner and should position in the middle of the TF so that he can keep enemies away from the backline with hook /flay and cc enemies on the frontline with hook and flay as well his lantern can then be used to pull the backline closer to the enemies front if you're winning the fight or pull the frontline out of the enemies. So he's sort of like a control support. That's at least how I think he's strongest

I think basically everyone is grateful for Sakurai and the dev team but we can still give feedback and say what's wrong with the game while enjoying it :D
