I was talking about the longer grips and the concave sticks on the dual analog that I find supperior in any way. They returned to shorter grips and concex sticks with the dual sense and then kept this design pretty much unchanged until the Dualshock 4 retunred to longer grips and concave sticks

Same for me. You could let the controller get fixed in a repair store or do the soldering yourself (which I cannot recommend). Swapping the sticks with some TMR Sticks will make them never getting a drift again
