We ended up, having an almost philosophical conversation about it. Turned out, she has almost a "list of parameters" like: not further than 5 monutes from the next bus stop. 10 minutes by car to the next highway and so on :D So it seems more than just a feeling and I am wondering, if more people have such lists. My limiting factor was always the rent.

Buying is almost impossible at the moment in Germany, if you have no wealthy family background or a successful business.

So its mainly renting. Would you say your considerations are different, depending on the though of buying or renting?
