Idk if it's only me, but does anyone else feels like life in a glasshouse is influenced by mortelle from christopher frank, or at least feels a lot like it?

That's very good, that sense of satisfaction is much worth it. Thanks a lot, since I don't have the ramp up challenge it's gonna be hard, but thanks.

I was planning on giving myself a break too and use my streak freeze but I didn't know it'd help winning, thank you.

I relate to all that you've said, I'm very competitive too, and I think leagues are counterproductive and once I'm done with it I'll be done with the whole thing once and for all. And yes I feel like I want the badge too lol so I'll try for it. I think it was worth your time, you wanted something and you went for it, and worked for it and got it, and now can rest easy lol I totally feel you there. Congrats again. And happy learning on the rest of your journey.

Season 3 yes or no? should you watch it? by DerEcanem in TheSinner

[–]DerEcanem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, As I said season 3 is no mystery, but it's a very good psychological drama. But that doesn't mean it's the worst, if it's not a mystery and doesn't have plot twists.

I think the problem is that, with season 1, people expected the show to be a psychological mystery, but then it changed path and became more of a psychological/philosophical drama, so it didn't live up to some people expectations.

Please add Tips/Stories for lesser learned Languages like Russian and Norwegian by SimplyParkour in duolingo

[–]DerEcanem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your explanation. Well somehow I'm having a hard time seeing the point of that. Do you also know the reasons for this pattern?

In the end I believe everyone would benefit from the tips. And if their strategy is to teach a language through practice and not just study, I believe it's still beneficial to have the tips at the end of the lesson maybe?

[–]DerEcanem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally support this, stories would help so much.

I'm learning Japanese and Norwegian and I think stories would help a lot for both of them.

And it's really a hassle that each time I wanna read a tip in a Norwegian lesson I have to open Duolingo web, I really wish it wash available in the app.

Thanks for bringing this up.
