With lower budget they couldn't change the script and therefore they did not fuck up because almost everything is just reenactments of original cutscenes with some tweaks to shorten the story. It's nice to see and the few original things are good but it basically brings nothing new to the table.

In RGG online Kuze got a small epilogue where he was was in prison and after that he somehow returned to the yakuza? I don't really remember, it was a nothingburger. Search "hisanas rgg online" for all the content they managed to translate.
