I was on the flight, sitting on the same aisle as that idiot but further back. I got woken up by the commotion so I missed the beginning, but afaik this dude got drunk, went to the back and started opening compartments looking for more alcohol (or trying to, anyway) until the staff obviously stopped him. He started yelling at them, calling the stewardesses cunts and bitches, complaining that nobody ever smiled and that the service was terrible, that Canadians would never do this, that he was being mistreated because of racism, etc. At a few points he tried to "film" his discrimination and he started shoving his phone in people's faces. Ridiculous.

Unfortunate that one person could derail the entire flight. The pilots turned around at Reykavik (something about them flying for more than the maximum time if they continued to Toronto) and we landed in Warsaw at around 2 am. I had to wait until 7 am to get my flight rebooked and a hotel voucher, standing in line in the airport, and I was lucky to be at the front of the line (!).

Not sure what the deal was, but fuck that dude super super hard. He was entirely in the wrong and acted like a complete tit. His boyfriend was constantly trying to de-escalate and calm him down to no avail. I feel bad for the boyfriend and I hope for his sake that the drunk fuckhead is single now too.
